I would like to welcome Amanda Leibovitz to the Momentum family. Amanda is a coach that I met while part of Team Semper Fi. I am very excited to have her as part of our team. See her bio below:
Amanda Leibovitz is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) and enjoys working closely with individuals, teams, and coaches both in and out of sport to leverage mental skills and achieve new levels of success. Throughout her career, she has worked with a diverse group of athletes and performers at all levels of competition, including elite youth sailors, junior elite beach volleyball, NCAA Division 1 softball, age group endurance athletes, and Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in throwing, wrestling, paratriathlon, and paracycling.
In addition to her work as a mental performance coach, Amanda was a competitive age-group triathlete at the sprint, international, and Ironman 70.3 and 140.6 distances. As a seasoned athlete, she understands the demands of a rigorous daily training schedule, the heartbreak of injury, the difficulties of time management, and the joys of achieving a new PR. Amanda holds coaching certifications with USA Triathlon, USA Paratriathlon, and USA Cycling and has been coaching endurance athletes since 2011. She currently contracts as a cycling coach for the U.S. Special Operations Command - Care Coalition and as a triathlon coach for USA Paratriathlon and the United States Association for Blind Athletes.
Amanda received her MA in Counseling with a Specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from Adler University and is now completing her PhD in Educational Psychology with a Concentration in the Psychosocial Aspects of Sport and Exercise at the University of North Texas.
